CONDOLENCES

While we welcome a brand new year, we are constraint to acknowledge the fragility of our existence and the transient nature of life. We have to acknowledge that no matter how noble the vision, however beneficial our plans and regardless of our commitment, we must submit to the higher call. Fact is, our realistion of this truth should underscore the commitment with which we pursue our endeavours especially the emancipation of Izereland from the throes of underdevelopment and socio-cultural including political irrelevance.

Our condolences to the entire Izereland for the lose of beloved ones in the year 2009. The inevitable higher call has been made; what is left is for us not to make the life our beloved co-heirs lived irrelevant. we must make them proud by constituting our aspirations into a noble force capable of lifting Izereland out of the present quagmire of despondency.

We at IKPAAT IGOON IZERE (IZERE HERITAGE FOUNDATION) family especially condole with the families of our able Interim Financial Secretary Azi Atsen Agok in Kirgi Village of Nitseng in Fursum District, Jos East local government. Mr. Azi is a pioneer member of the board of trustees of IKPAAT IGOON IZERE (IZERE HERITAGE FOUNDATION). As shocking as his exit is, we are determined not to let his dreams for Izereland die with him but build on his efforts with renewed vigour a sustainable foundation in bringing to Izereland dearly needed development.

We equally condole with the families of Mr. Pati who passed on with the demise of 2009. Our heartfelt condolences do go in tandem with our utmost determination not to let his immense contribution to the advancement of Izereland go down the drain of irrelevance and/or oblivion. Great Mr. Pati lives on where his noble efforts shall be advanced and promoted to fruition, sustenance and honour among all true heirs of the heritage of heritages. Adieu Great Emancipator.

The unrelenting fangs of ethno-religious and socio-political upheavals continue to draw innocent blood on the Plateau. Izereland have had its fair share of these unfortunate occurrences. Our hearts go out to all especially Izere heirs who have lost loved ones to these acts of man's inhumanity to man. Our singular honour and privilege of being alive is to ensure the exemplary life their lived and the blood their shed is not in vain. We must as a matter of duty appreciate their sacrifices by being at the vanguard of founding a more enduring nation (Izereland) where all heirs are safe to put their dreams and visions to the betterment of Izereland. We take this duty very seriously at IKPAAT IGOON IZERE (IZERE HERITAGE FOUNDATION).
